Creative Engagement Associate

Position Summary:
The Creative Engagement Associate will provide administrative support for the Auditorium Theatre’s Creative Engagement Programs to include: Student Matinee Series, ArtsXChange Teacher Professional Development Mentorship Program, Hearts to Art Performing Arts Summer Camp, Admit One Engagement Program, and our Dance Series Master Classes.

Experience:
1-2 years 

Major Areas of Responsibilities:

Hearts to Art (40%)

-Assist with camper registration and follow up
-Assist with Camp orientation, talent shows and final performance
-Assist with camp communication both internal and external
-Assist with staff training sessions and Junior Counselor Mini Camp
-Create daily camp schedules
-Provide support with daily camper check in and out
-General staff supervision and teacher support
-Camp set up and break down
-Supervise campers and ensure all safety protocol is followed
-Take camp supply inventory
-Writing monthly newsletters
-Assist in the organization and execution of Camp Reunions

Administrative Duties (30%)

-Provide database support for all Creative Engagement activities
-Work with the Creative Engagement Manager to ensure that all budget items are recorded and reconciled with accounting records and provide reports as necessary
-Maintain an up to date record of all Creative Engagement Activities in Events Chart
-Assist in managing Creative Engagement email and phone inquiries and outreach

Creative Engagement Operations (20%)

-Review applications and coordinate workshops and transportation requests for Admit One Groups
-Manage ArtsXChange Student Matinee tickets and transportation
-Manage the applications and registrations for Dance Master Classes

Communications (10%)

-Monitor website to ensure that all Creative Engagement Programs are properly listed
-Assist with the creation of printed or digital collateral material
-Organize and archive Auditorium event information and collateral to be used for Development wrap-up reports
-Provide Social Media support for the Creative Engagement Programs
-Attend weekly department and all staff meetings

Knowledge/skills/abilities:
-Prior experience in an arts education or education field preferred Knowledge of CRM systems Tessitura preferred Strong technical skills Excellent Oral and written communication skills
-Strong attention to detail
-Commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity, and Accessibility (IDEA)
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite preferred

Salary Range:
$37K – $45K
