Children

There is no age restriction for children. However, as a courtesy to other patrons and the performers, the Auditorium discourages attendance by children under the age of five. All patrons must have a ticket for admittance, and in all instances babes in arms are not permitted. Any person who disturbs the performance or other patrons will be asked to leave the theatre without a refund issued.

It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to research and judge the content of a performance as appropriate for their child's age and level of maturity. There is no official rating system for live performance.

ticketFast®

ticketFast® is a ticket delivery method instituted by Ticketmaster at the point of purchase. By selecting this method, tickets are delivered via email as a PDF document and may be printed out anytime prior to the performance. ticketFast® tickets have a bar code that is scanned at the time of entry to the venue. Click here for more information on ticketFast®.

Lost Tickets

When possible, the Auditorium Theatre will reprint lost or stolen tickets. This invalidates the bar code on the original tickets. Patrons should present photo ID matching the name on the original purchase account, credit card used in the transaction, and 6- or 7-digit confirmation number provided by Ticketmaster. For more information call (312) 922-2110.

Will Call

The Auditorium Theatre Will Call window is located at the Auditorium Box Office. If you have tickets to retrieve from Will Call, please allow yourself extra time before the performance starts. Tickets held for Will Call may be picked up on the day of the performance any time during the regular box office hours. The customer must present a valid form of identification and the credit card used to place the order. The confirmation number given at the time of purchase is also helpful. The Box Office does not accept drop-offs; however, if a member of a party is late, we will accomodate requests to hold a ticket for that person.

Refunds & Exchanges

The Auditorium Theatre will not offer refunds or exchanges for tickets purchased at the box office or through Ticketmaster.

Student Rush

Student Rush discounted tickets are instituted at the discretion of the producers of the show based on availability and can only be purchased at the Auditorium Theatre Box Office, most often 1 hour prior to show time. Generally, there is a limit of two tickets per college ID. As a general rule, Student Rush applies to most dance and theatrical productions we host, but not popular or rock 'n' roll music concerts. Policies do differ from show to show.

Be the first to know when Student Rush is available by signing up for e-mail Student Rush Alerts. Contact Nicole Wetzell at nwetzell@auditoriumtheatre.org with RUSH in the subject line, or at 312.922.2110 ext. 300.

HotTix

HotTix is a ticket service operated by the League of Chicago Theatres offering "discounted day of event" tickets for select performances at the Auditorium Theatre. HotTix are instituted at the discretion of the producers of the show. The only way for a patron to determine if discounted HotTix will be offered at a particular performance is by visiting a HotTix outlet in person or by visiting HotTix online.
