Additional Artists Information:
Full Effect Entertainment Theatrical Dance Company dancers/instructors are technically trained in a diverse field of performance dance genres. FEETDCo promotes the dance aesthetic throughout urban Chicago by recruiting those whose schools and community centers lack support of the performing arts and by integrating their programming within those schools and community centers.
FEETDCo dancers have choreographed for major recording artists and have made regular appearances on BET, MTV, and VH1, not to mention commercials and feature films. Instructors are technically trained dancers with years of performance and instructional experience (especially with youths). They have successfully partnered with the Chicago Park District for over 14 years, providing arts programming to over 30 facilities and over a thousand children and young adults. The company has worked closely with the Chicago Public Schools since 1997, performing for many assemblies. FEETDCo and its instructors currently work with the After School Matters program and have been successfully affiliated with it since 2004.
Michael Green is currently a student at the Chicago College of Performing Arts at Roosevelt University and has previously studied at UIC with Zvonimir Tot. Mike has played in a variety of ensembles that span a wide range of genres including Jazz, Blues, Rock, Hip Hop, Funk, and more. He has also appeared at many of Chicago's great venues such as the Beat Kitchen, Lincoln Hall, and Subterranean.
Rodney Bakerr's work has been featured in the PBS program Alive from Off Center and the European film documentary The Sound of Belgium. He is also an artist whose artwork is in the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago. Bakerr has won several awards for his work as an artist, musician, and teacher.
