CURRENT AND UPCOMING EVENTS![]() On The Road With...Jessie Arlen
Dates: July 17, 2010
We're taking Cabaret on the road this summer to the Polo Cafe's Old Eagle Room located at 3322 S. Morgan Street in the historic South Side neighborhood, Bridgeport. Experience memorable Cabaret in the unique and intimate setting of an early 1900's movie theatre transformed into a glamorous club with some of the best acoustics in the city. Cabarets also include a scrumptious buffet dinner. "...instantly mesmerizes...total sincerity, spirited lyrics, raw emotions and a voice that is just plain sweet." - Marshall Cordell, Producer (Edinburgh Festival)
The Auditorium is thrilled to introduce Jessie Arlen to Chicago! A crossover artist with roots in jazz, Arlen is a classification-defying singer who embraces songs in a way that defies her youth. Arlen's debut recording Certain Surprise features unique and original arrangements of jazz standards, including Cole Porter's "You'd Be So Nice To Come Home To," Ann Ronell's "Willow Weep For Me," Fats Waller's "Honeysuckle Rose," and Burt Bacharach's "What The World Needs Now Is Love." Be the first to see her in the City of Chicago. Each Cabaret includes a buffet dinner and free parking. Phone: 312.922.2110 x 300 Premium cash bar. Free parking available in the adjacent lot and on the street. |
