Nederlands Dans Theater I has been one of the world's leading dance companies since its beginning in 1959. Its 30 dancers bring classical training and technique to a world of innovative and inspiring modern dance, creating room for adventure and risk. Artistic Director Anders Hellström compiles programs combining the gems of the company's own repertoire - works by in-house choreographers Jirí Kylián and Lightfoot León - with creations by established choreographers and new talents.
