The Auditorium Theatre has a total capacity of 3,929 seats, although for many productions only the main floor and first balcony seats are sold.
Smoking, cameras, recording devices, and outside food and beverages are strictly prohibited; binoculars/opera glasses are permitted.
The Auditorium Theatre has a strict policy of no late seating. Latecomers may be asked to remain in the lobby until they can be seated by ushers during the first convenient pause in the program.

The coat check is seasonal and located in the main floor lobby.
Found articles should be reported or left with the Theatre Manager's Office off Aisle 1 in the main lobby. To determine if a personal article has been turned into the Lost & Found, call (312) 431-2389 x0. Any items lost or presumed stolen are not the responsibility of the Auditorium Theatre.

There is no age restriction for children; however, as a courtesy to other patrons and the performers, the Auditorium discourages attendance by children under the age of five (unless the production is specifically intended for young children). All patrons must have a ticket for admittance, and in all instances babes in arms are not permitted. Any person who disturbs the performance or other patrons will be asked to leave the theatre without a refund issued. It is the sole responsibility of the parent or guardian to research and judge the content of a performance as appropriate for their child's age and level of maturity. There is no official rating system for live performances.

All sales are final--no refunds or exchanges. Auditorium Theatre subscribers may exchange tickets for another performance of the same production.
The Auditorium Theatre Box Office is located at 50 East Congress Parkway. It is open Monday through Friday, noon until 6PM.

Gift certificates are available by calling (312) 922-2110. Certificates are sold in twenty-five dollar increments. Please note that gift certificates may only be redeemed at the box office.
