In addition, we host Broadway musicals, popular music concerts, a jazz music series and numerous community events. The Auditorium Theatre provides Chicago's most diverse and extensive choices in entertainment. This website also provides information about our many outstanding educational initiatives. These run the gamut from pre-and post-performance talks to our award winning summer camp, Hands Together, Heart to Art. Our partnership with Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in the Chicago Public Schools is also rewarding. We are constantly expanding our educational offerings, so please check back often to discover our ongoing plans.

In our role as the caretakers of this beautiful National Historic Landmark theatre, we take pride in the architectural genius, outstanding acoustics and exquisite ornaments that can be found throughout the hall. As the crowning achievement of architects Louis Sullivan and Dankmar Adler, the Auditorium Theatre is a testament to the timeless glory that is great design within careful restoration and preservation.
